It’s a big episode this week, as John and Andy chat with current Seattle Thunderbirds VP of Hockey Operations, and just generally legendary hockey man, Russ Farwell.

With Russ, the guys take a winding journey through his hockey life in the Pacific Northwest and the WHL. Along the way, they make various interesting stops at some of the political turning points associated with running a sports team in the Seattle market. It’s an interesting conversation with an interesting man.

Also in this episode, John, Andy, and Darren take on the rather uncomfortable Bill Peters controversy and how it pertains to NHL Seattle.

Plus, segments including Buy, Sell, or Hold, Weekly One-Timers, and Let’s Get Quizzical.

Oh, and plenty of discussion about a dog going to the bathroom on the ice (thanks to 1090 KJR and Thom Beuning for the audio), in an all-time WHL moment featuring Sound of Hockey’s own Andy Eide.
