On the latest Sound of Hockey, the guys have opted to simply keep the ECHL’s Kelly Cup… Oh, wait, that’s the Colorado Eagles, who have actually made the calculated decision to not return the championship trophy.

Lots of Seattle talk in this episode as well, as John breaks down Tod Leiweke’s recent AMA session, and gives a review of a packed NHLtoSeattle watch party and a reaction to Dave Tippett’s official hiring as head coach of the Edmonton Oilers.

In this episode, you’ll also get a nice dose of #Cupdates, from AHL to NHL, multiple “Get Off My Lawns,” and a solid Goalie Gear Corner.

Plus, the regular segments like Weekly One-Timers and Tweets of the Week.
