Kraken goalie and friend of the Sound Of Hockey Podcast, Joey Daccord joins us to walk us through his goalie gear for the first ever video version of a Goalie Gear Corner that features an NHL netminder.
Enjoy!
Three Takeaways – Kraken blow lead again, recover again, win again over Mammoth
It’s almost time to start asking the question… Are the Kraken good? With their never-a-doubt [wink, wink] 5-3 win over the Utah Mammoth—who definitely are good—on Thursday, Seattle is officially off to its best start in franchise history at 7-3-1 through 11 games....
Great Video of goalie gear corner. I did notice Daccord likes to point alot with is middle finger alot. Did you make him mad Darren?
I didn’t make him mad, but the middle finger pointing is on me. Before we started recording, I handed him a mic, and he was like, “How am I supposed to show you my gear and hold the mic at the same time?” I think it was just a bit of an awkward setup for him, and the middle finger point was easiest for him to keep the mic in his hand. Sorry for the unintentionally offensive gesture. 🙂
