The first NHL Trade Deadline in the history of the Seattle Kraken is now in the rearview, and the Sound Of Hockey Podcast has a LOT to discuss this week. General manager Ron Francis moved Calle Jarnkrok, Mark Giordano, Colin Blackwell, Jeremy Lauzon, Mason Appleton, and Marcus Johansson, and collected a boatload of draft picks. On this episode, hear all about what this means for the future of the franchise and how the team performed in general during this chaotic period.

Aside from plenty of deadline talk about the Kraken, the guys also discuss what happened around the rest of the league by way of “Interesting or Carry On?” Before all that, they break down the two recent Kraken games against the Lightning and Red Wings and chat about what’s happening down on the farm.

The Men’s NCAA Tournament is getting underway this week, so there’s also a fair dose of college hockey talk, plus some Serious Business, Weekly One-Timers, and Three Stars.
