Ep. 239 – The Future Is Bright
May 17, 2023

The Kraken lost this week in Game 7 of Round 2 against the Dallas Stars, ending their season. But what a magical run it was, as the team went way beyond what anyone expected, bringing in countless new hockey fans in the process.

John, Darren, and (this week) Curtis break down what they saw from the fanbase and how sentiment seemed to be positive, despite the loss. They also dig deep into Games 6 and 7 and consider some roundtable questions that address the future of the team.

Next, they go Down on the Farm, where the Coachella Valley Firebirds are in a great spot in their Calder Cup Playoff series, and check in on the Seattle Thunderbirds, who are in the WHL Championship Series.

After lots of Kraken talk, they shift to segments, which include:

  • Bad Boys
  • Weekly One-Timers
  • Three Stars
  • Tweets of the Week
